Following our previous big news – securing 1 million EUR in funding – we are excited to announce that Chris De Hous (55), ex-CEO of Trasys and ex-partner at McKinsey & Company, joins Sweepatic NV as COO.

Chris De Hous – as member of the management team – will focus on helping to scale up the company. Particularly, he will take on the day-to-day operations of the company ensuring that appropriate commercial, operational, organizational aspects are in place.

“Combining the vast experience Chris gained throughout his impressive career and mixing that with an innovative and ambitious cybersecurity venture will result in fireworks. I’m a great believer in bringing complementary people with different experience and backgrounds together and motivating them towards a common goal. This is rewarding for everybody not only for the venture itself but foremost for all the people involved now and in the future”, stated co-founder & CEO Stijn Vande Casteele.

Before, Chris De Hous was CEO of Trasys which was part of Ackermans & van Haaren and CNP and partner at McKinsey & Company where he headed up the European Software & Services Practice. He wants to help further build and grow Sweepatic. He sees plenty of opportunities for growth based on the strong technology Sweepatic developed through further internationalisation as well as through further broadening of partnerships.

“I am convinced Sweepatic has a great future ahead and with eCAPITAL Stijn succeeded to get a very strong partner onboard to fuel the growth of the company. I was attracted by Sweepatic’s unique solution in the rapidly growing cybersecurity market and by the dynamic environment of a start-up where I can add my experience and network. We have a very complementary team", says De Hous.
